So. I realized a major reason that I keep coming back to tumblr in stints and then abandoning it entirely for weeks on end is because I don’t feel comfortable here on this blog. I’ve developed friend groups and spaces on twitter that hopefully won’t disappear, but with every passing day it seems more likely than not that twitter will just stop functioning sometime soon.
Anyway. The reason I don’t feel particularly comfortable on here is bc I’ve grown fairly exhausted by a good amt of puritan and pearl-clutching things surrounding fiction. I consider myself to be pretty firmly proship - ship what you like, ignore or block what you don’t, and don’t harass people for doing so. The way fandoms used to be, which seems to be a decreasing mindset these days.
All that being said, there’s a lot of mutuals I hold here who I am unsure of how that would come across and if I’d be making people uncomfortable all the time. Because on one hand yes, it certainly is my blog. But on the other, I just can’t let go of this fear/anxiety whenever I think about logging in here.
All of that to say that I have created a new tumblr for myself over at sangchus. Expect a lot of the stuff you’re used to such as vampires, poetry, bad memes etc. But also kpop RPF bc that is by far my largest current fandom.
As always, I am FUB-free. If this is where we part ways, that’s okay. I’ll be switching over to that new blog in the following days.
